Getting Started

Welcome to WSL Dashboard — a powerful GUI tool designed to manage Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) distributions.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11.
• WSL 2: WSL 2 must be enabled. If not yet installed, refer to the Microsoft official documentation.
• Optional dependency: If you need to manage USB devices, it is recommended to install usbipd-win.

Quick Start

1. Download: Visit GitHub Releases or the official download page.
   • The Portable EXE is recommended for a quick experience.
   • For system integration, download the Setup EXE.
2. Run:
   • Portable: Double-click wsldashboard.exe to run directly.
   • Setup: Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Manage: Once launched, the app automatically scans and displays all WSL distributions installed on your system.
